Blu Clothing Studio respects the privacy of its customers

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Information (revised and approved in 2021) when you visit the Blu Clothing Studio website, make a purchase, or register as a Blu customer (hereinafter referred to as “Blu” or “we”).

Collection of Personal Information

If you create a customer account with Blu, we process the personal information you provide in accordance with our Terms of Service to offer you customer account services.

The personal information that is mandatory for creating a customer account includes the following:

  • Customer’s Full Name and Email Address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Delivery Address
  • Order Information (such as items, prices, dates, etc.)

Purpose of Using Information​

If you place an order, we will use the personal information stored in your customer account for the purpose of fulfilling your order. In addition to your contact information and delivery address (name and address), we will use details about your chosen delivery method (urban area or rural area) and payment method for order fulfillment purposes. If you voluntarily provide your phone number, we will retain this information to enable further communication with you — that is, based on our and your legitimate interests. 

Sharing of Information

Blu Clothing Studio will share your personal information with third parties for specific purposes in accordance with the grounds and procedures established by law. 

  • Logistics partners for order delivery 

We share your delivery information — such as your name, delivery address, and phone number — with our partnered postal and courier service providers or with a recipient authorized by the customer. This is done for the purpose of ensuring timely delivery of your order, tracking the delivery process, and providing you with delivery notifications.

  • Payment service providers

When you make a purchase through our website, we transfer your payment-related information (such as the payable amount, ordered items, discounts, and selected payment method) to your chosen payment service provider (for example, credit card providers, Storepay, Pocket, XacBank, etc.). In some cases, the respective service provider independently collects and processes your financial information, in which case that entity acts as the data controller.

  • Requests from legal and judicial authorities

We may be required to share your personal information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, or upon the request of law enforcement agencies, courts, or other competent government authorities. Such disclosure will only be made on lawful grounds and in accordance with the applicable procedures.

Data retention period

We will retain your personal information until the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled, as well as for the period required by the laws of Mongolia.

Once the purpose has been fulfilled or the legally prescribed retention period has expired, the information will be securely deleted or anonymized so that it can no longer be linked to you.

This is in accordance with Articles 12 and 13 of Mongolia’s “Law on Personal Data Protection.”

Compliance with the laws of Mongolia

Blu Clothing Studio processes, stores, and protects customers’ personal information in compliance with Mongolia’s “Law on Personal Data Protection” (revised edition, 2021) and other relevant laws and regulations.

We adhere to the following principles:

  • Collection on a lawful basis: Personal information will be collected with the customer’s consent or on a legal basis prescribed by law.
  • Only necessary information: We collect and use only the information that is relevant and necessary for the intended purpose.
  • Transparency: Customers have the right to know the purpose for which their information is collected and how it will be used.
  • Security: Information will be protected using technical and organizational measures that comply with legal requirements.
  • Right to access and correct: Customers have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their personal information.
  • Transfer to third parties: Information will only be shared with third parties with the customer’s consent or on a legal basis.
